<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new TFT matrix panel which can utilize a conventional process technique and moreover can attain a reduction in an electrode resistance of each TFT and a reduction in an area, an image display unit using the same, and a photoelectric conversion equipment. SOLUTION: In a matrix panel which has a source part, a channel part, a drain part and a gate part, and in which a plurality of TFTs are two- dimensionally laid out on an insulation substrate, a layout structure is formed that the source part, channel part, and drain part are vertically stacked on the insulation substrate, and an insulation layer and a gate electrode are formed on the side face.</p> |
