<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electric parts, which aims to improve reliability by preventing crack and slipping and to reduce the number of parts and molding. SOLUTION: The IC socket as an electric part socket comprises a socket body 13 which is provided being screwed 45 on the substrate P, an IC package as an electric part which is housed in this socket body 13, and a contact pin 14 which is in contact with the terminal of this IC package and is connected electrically with this terminal and the substrate P. A support plate 42 is installed on the socket body 13. A female screw portion 42d is provided at this support plate 42 and a screw 45 is screwed to this screw portion 42d for mounting the substrate P.</p> |
