A water supply system, esp. to provide ground water for heat pumps, uses a submersed pump to raise ground water from the perforated section of a 'positive' well to the heat pump on the surface. The colder water is returned to the soil through a 'negative' well. During the standstill periods of the heat pump, oxygen-enriched water which has been produced by spray atomisation and stored, is returned to the positive well to form a catalyst bed. The catalyst bed pptes. the iron and manganese cpds. in the ground water and prevents premature clogging of pipes and heat exchanger.
|
