The visual display screen (9) may be viewed by several operators working at different tables. It rests on a machine plate (8) which is set radially displaceable on the support plate (3). This is rotatably mounted on the support body. The screen (9) can now be pulled to and fro between the relevant operators for easier viewing. Specially designed worktops possibly of different heights are now no longer required so that the display unit can be used with existing office furniture.
