<p>The pipe supporting system using clips each consisting of a lower member (1) which locks inside an upper member (11) can be used with channel shaped supporting rails. The lower member has a base (2) with two curved arms (5) projecting upwards and the upper member has a flat top (12) with two curved arms (13) hanging downwards to fit over the lower arms to form a circular space to hold the pipe. The upper arms have teeth projecting inwards to interlock with teeth (6) projecting outwards from the base of the lower member. The lower arms have radial tongues (7) projecting inwards to support the pipe resiliently, and the underside of the flat top of the upper member has resilient tongues (17) projecting downwards to compress the pipe when the two members are interlocked. This enables pipes of different sizes to be clamped. The base of the lower member has grooves (9) for the arms of an adaptor which also has grooves for the arms of the supporting rail on which it is mounted.</p> |
