PURPOSE:To transmit the original partially in the main scanning direction to shorten the transmission time, by detecting electrically a designated section and by taking out and transmitting only the picture signal of the designated section. CONSTITUTION:Frames 44 and 45 are moved to the part to be transmitted out of entry items on transmission original 11, and indicating materials 40 and 41 are placed there. The first line is subjected to main scanning and is converted to analogue signal 80. After this signal 80 is made binary in comparing circuit 53, only picture signal 87 of the section indicated by indicating materials 40 and 41 is taken out by gate circuit 56 and is stored in memory 57. It is detected by white ground deciding circuit 58 that the significant signal exists, and the number of blocks is written into the phase signal. At the completion of transmission of phase signal 89, motor 23 is advanced by 1 step to perform subscanning, and storage contents of memory 57 are read out and are synthesized with the phase signal. |
