PURPOSE:To provide a stick to be used suitably for an applicator, a straw, a drainboard such as a laver drainboard having high rigidity, being hardly broken and cracked, by using polypropylene resin having a specific degree of crystallinity, a specific melt flow rate, and a specific relation between Q valve and the melt flow rate and drawing it by 5 times or more. CONSTITUTION:Polypropylene resin whose degree of crystallinity is 0.945 or more and melt flow rate is 0.2-20g/10min is used. A relation y>2x is satisfied between the melt flow rate x and Q value y. Here, the Q value is a characteris tic value representing the molecular weight distribution of the resin and namely, Mw/Mn. A nucleating agent having a nucleating effect can be added in the polypropylene resin. For example, aluminum p-t-butyl benzoate and talc can be cited. The raw material resin is melted and kneaded by using an extruder and continuously extruded. Extruded molten stick is immediately drawn (draft drawing) by 5 times or more, preferably 8 times or more. |
