PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission type screen for reader printers that can easily detect the density of the image desired to be copied by providing a transparent photoelectric conversion layer on the back of a light transmittable light diffusion layer. CONSTITUTION:A transmission type screen 7 is formed by providing a photoelectric conversion layer 31 over the entire surface of a light transmittable light diffusion layer 30. At the time of observation, the microfiche held in a carrier consisting of glass plates G1, G2 is irradiated by the light from a light source 1, and the transmitted light thereof is reflected by a mirror 6, and is projected onto a screen 7, by which the image information is read. On the other hand, if it is desired to copy the image information, the mirror 6 is moved to the position 6' shown by double chain lines, and photosensitive paper 12 is set on a transparent glass plate 8, thereafter the light source 1 is lighted for a prescribed time by the signal of a storage circuit which had held the output of the photoelectric conversion circuit 31 of the screen 7, whereby the photosensitive paper 12 is exposed (however, the value corrected of the output component of the photoelectric conversion layer 31 by external light is used for the above-mentioned signal). |
