To simplify the insertion of inserts in the material conveying tubes which can be heated and cooled from the outside and to improve the heat transfer, the inserts are, in the case of thermal treatment devices for pulverulent to granular, pourable, possibly sedimentary material, prefabricated as a unit and as such introduced and exchangeably fastened in the tube. |
