PURPOSE:To markedly stabilize a polyolefin with a small amount of a stabilizer, by using as the stabilizer a combination of calcium stearyllactate and a tetrakis [methylene-3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxypheyl)propionato]methane. CONSTITUTION:To a polyolefin are added as essential stabilizing components 0.05-2wt% of calcium stearyllactate and 0.001-1wt% of tetrakis[methylene-3-(3, 5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionato]methane and optionally 0.001-1wt% (per each) of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 2,6-di-t- butyl-p-cresol, dilauryl thiodipropionate, distearyl thiodipropionate and lauryl stearyl thiodipropionate. |
