PURPOSE:To eliminate fading, by extending two antennas so that their directional patterns are different for the plane of polarization of received radio waves and by synthesizing respective antenna outputs. CONSTITUTION:Antennas 3 of 20-30m length are extended at the angle of 20- 30 deg. from both ends of cross arm 2 of mast 1, and respective antenna outputs are input to synthesizer 4, and the synthesized output is supplied to facsimile devide 5. In respect to fading of polarization, since the plane of polarization is rotated, the output voltage of the antenna is changed due to the directional pattern for the plane of polarization of the antenna when radio waves are received by one antenna. If two antennas are extended with directional patterns, the small output of one antenna is compensated by the large output of the other, so that fading is eliminated. |
