PURPOSE:To uniformly coat a toner, by providing a magnetic roller for magnetically attaching the toner pushed up along a magnetic blade and a scraper in a hopper. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic roller 7 for magnetically attaching one-component type magnetic toner 4 and conveying it and a scraper 8 are provided in hopper 5 for containing the toner. Roller 7 consists of 4-pole magnets with ferrite rubber 7b2 stuck to the circumference of roller shaft 7a. Toner 4 pushed upward along the backside of blade 6 is stuck to roller 7 and carried into the center of hopper 5, thus permitting the density and the pressure of toner 4 not to rise behind blade 6 due to stuffing of toner 4, a uniform toner layer to be formed on the sleeve surface, toner 4 on roller 7 to be removed with scraper 8, constant conveyance capacity to be maintained, and therefore uniform coating to be attained without unevenness. |
