PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned tool which solved problems such as the damage of an annular groove or the like by a method wherein an annular outside positioning sleeve is made with a specified configuration. CONSTITUTION:A central embossing members 128a, 128b and the annular outside positioning sleeve 128c are equipped within the crown cap shell 106 consisting of a circular ceiling 102 and a skirt 104 having the annular groove 110 extending in the peripheral direction thereof, thereafter, the liner 108 is embossed onto the inside of the ceiling 102 of said crown cap shell 106. In this case, the annular outside positioning sleeve 128c is formed so that it is adhered to the skirt 104 till position oppositin to the annular groove 110 while the thickness thereof is reduced by an amount corresponding to the radial depth of the annular groove 110 in a first area 130 from said opposing position to the tip end thereof. An unreasonable force applied to the annular groove 110 may be prevented. |
