PURPOSE:A sprocket for making the endless chain which carries dipping buckets turn from the chemical solution tank to the outside is made controllable by sliding along the dipping tank so that the dipping time can be controlled according to various kinds of food. CONSTITUTION:Food products are placed in buckets 6 fitted to endless chain 1 and the endless chain is driven so that the buckets 6 may be dipped in the chemical solution 4 in the tank 5. The endless chain gears with the turning sprocket 2 that is controlled by sliding along the dipping tank 5 and with another sprocket 9 which is always drawn with a spring or weight 10 so as to prevent the endless chain from loosening. For example, when the treatment with the chemical solution is required to be shortened, the turning sprocket 2 is made to slide to a termporalily determined point and the moving distance of food in the chemical solution is shortened. |
