PURPOSE:To prevent the ignition or an electric shock which may occur on putting butter, water, etc. into a popping vessel in error, by means of a receiving member provided between a heater and the popping vessel in a popcorn preparing machine. CONSTITUTION:Corn grains fed into a metering part 30 are dropped to a popping vessel 8 of a popcorn preparing machine by an operating level 31, and hot air produced in a heater 16 is sent by a fan 4 to pop the corn grains. The light-weight popped corn grains are lifted upward, released from an outlet 57 and seasoned with butter 32 molten by the hot air. If the butter 32, etc. are fed into the popping vessel 8 on handling in error, the butter is received by a receiving member 15 and passed through a path 13 to flow out of the machine. |
