PURPOSE:To automatically apply a rapid change in temperature with a specific temperature range and to repeat said change to a test piece, by a method wherein the test piece is placed on a fluid line of a high-temperature fluid system, and a fluid supply valve in a low-temperature fluid system is installed in the fluid line. CONSTITUTION:After a high-temperature fluid, produced by a high-temperature fluid generating device 7 which is thermally controlled by a controller 14, is fed to the test piece 6 through a supply line 5, it returns to the generating device 7. With a temperature rapid change start command 2 sent to a temperature rapid change control circuit 1 from the controller 14, an inlet valve 12 and an outlet valve 11 at the high-temperature side of the test piece are closed, and an inlet valve 10 and an outlet valve 13 at the low-temperature side of the test piece are opened to feed a low-temperature fluid to the test piece 6 through a supply line 8 of the low-temperature fluid. After a temperature rapid change in a low temperature is applied for a given period of time, a command, which closes the inlet valve 10 and the outlet valve 13 at the low-temperature side, is sent from the temperature rapid change control circuit 1, and the inlet valve 12 and the outlet valve 13 at the high-temperature side open after said valves are closed completely. |
