SOLUTION: This image storage system 1 is provided with a register 7 having a detecting means 13 for detecting a designated operation, and a photographing device 10 for photographing the vicinity of the periphery of the register 7, and a main control device 8 having a first storage means 16 for temporarily storing the photographed image data ID in a memory 15, a second storage means 19 for storing the image data ID stored in the memory 15 in a first video 18a interlocking with the designated operation, an image erasing means 20 for erasing the image data ID stored in the memory 15, a third storage means 21 for compressing the image data ID stored in the memory 15, and storing the low image data LD lowered in the image quality in a second video 18b, an image communicating means 22 for transmitting the image data ID, and the low image data LD, and a time detecting means 17 for detecting the amount of time when designated operation is performed.
