PURPOSE:To prevent overflow of a magnetic toner, by providing a magnetic toner sensor in the specified position of a toner container, and a magnetic toner attracting means in a toner storage tank, and attracting the toner when the detector operates. CONSTITUTION:Sensor 9 for detecting presence of a magnetic toner is provided in toner container 1, when the toner is absent in container 1, a switch incorporated in sensor 9 is kept off, and on the other hand, when the toner is present, the switch is kept on. Magnetic toner feed controller 10 has magnetic toner attracting material 11 and coil 12 for magnetizing material 11, thus permitting a magnetic field not to be generated by the coil 10 when toner feed rate is small, and material 11 not to be magnetized, therefore toner feed to be kept on, when the toner amounts to a given value, the switch to be turned off, toner feed to be stopped, and so its overflow to be prevented. |
