PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of reliability by restraining the transformations caused by heat of a conductor rod and end rings by a method wherein a fan for ventilating the cooling air is mounted on either the inner periphery or the outer periphery of the end rings. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ring-shaped thin plate members 11 are layer-built to be made the end rings 5 through a gap 12, the end ring are soldered at both ends of the conductor rod 4 and the cooling air ventilating fan 13 is mounted on the inner periphery of the end rings. With such a construction, the cooling air 7 is discharged from a rotating shaft 1 side toward the outer periphery passing through the gap 12 between the thin plate members 11 constituting the end rings 5 as shown by arrows. Thereby, the conductor rod 4 and the end rings 5 are compulsorily cooled, a heat radiating area being enlarged to enable a cooling effect to further be increased and the reliability can be improved. |
