PURPOSE:To airtightly seal the injection hole of an element with high work efficiency by forming an electrically conductive paste layer around the injection hole and soldering the layer to seal the hole. CONSTITUTION:Electrically conductive paste such as silver paste is circularly applied to an exterior peripheral part of electrolyte injection hole 20 of glass substrate 21 of an electrochoromic (EC) element by screen printing, and it is baked to form electrically conductive paste layer 22. After injecting an electrolyte into the element, layer 22 is soldered with solder 23 preferably contg. about 0.5-2.5wt% silver to seal injection hole 20. |
