PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of fog in a silver complex salt diffusion transfer material and a reduction in the density and contrast after storage and provide high resolution and sharpness by adding a specified 3-pyrazolidone compound to the carbon black-contg. layer or its adjacent layer. CONSTITUTION:To the carbon black-contg. layer of a photographic sensitive silver halide material or its adjacent layer such as silver halide emulsion layer is added a 3-pyrazolidone compound represented by the formula [where each of R1 and R2 is 1-4C hydroxyalkyl or (substituted) alkyl, R1 and/or R2 is hydroxyalkyl, R3 is (substituted) aryl and the substitutent of the aryl is lower alkyl, halogen, amino, lower alkylamino, acetylamino, lower alkoxy or the like] by 0.05-0.25g to 1g Ag. Thus, the occurrence of fog in the material is prevented especially after storage, and a clear imga of high contrast is obtd. |
