PURPOSE:To contrive the increase of conductor resistance in a rotor with a satisfactory deep groove effect and without making the motor large by a method wherein a depth of cut is formed in a part outside a core of the rotor conductor to increase the rotor conductor resistance. CONSTITUTION:The further increase of an equivalent resistance at the operation of a low speed side compraring that at the operation of a high speed side enables to be contrived and the satisfactory characteristics can be obtained on both the high speed side and low speed side, by forming the depth of cut in the part outside the core of the conductor 1 in the rotor constructed by the rotor conductor 1, the rotor core 2 and a short-circuit ring 3 and increasing the rotor conductor resistance. Thereby, the most suitable torque-speed characteristics can be attained without marking the motor being largesized and the temperature rise in the conductor can be restrained due to the increase of the cooled surface area of the rotor conductor. |
