PURPOSE:To realize a high-accuracy measurement of tension, by performing a prescribed operation with use of the constantly slight vibration of the cable to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The constantly slight vibration waveform of the cable obtained from the acceleration meter 1 mounted to the cable to be measured is led into the LPF43 having a cut-off frequency that is calculated from the inherent constant, and the output signal undergoes an A/D conversion 44. At the same time, the A/D conversion output is turned into data 52 with the reading cycle calculated 51 based on th calculated value of the cut-off frequency. Then a discrete Fourier conversion 54 is given to the data group, and the natural oscillation is calculated 55 for the cable to be measured from the maximum value of square of conversion 54. Based on this natural oscillation, the tension is calculated 56 to perform a digital display 45. |
