<p>The insulating screen is made up of a sheet of heat insulating material sandwiched between two flexible panels. The end of the screen is pref. attached to a point and passes over a steel rod then extends up to a roller where it is secured to a cord. To raise the screen, a traction system pulls the cord and the screen over the roller to lift the rod. The screen runs in pref. slightly inclined guides which magnetically attract the edges of the screen to form a thermal seal. When closed, the bottom of the screen contacts a profile which magnetically attracts the rod to complete the seal.</p> |
