PURPOSE:To measure the concn. or activity of a wide range with good accuracy by using a calibration curve of large measurement time intervals when the concn. or activity is low, and using the calibration curve of small measurement time intervals when the concn. or activity is high in the analysis for reaction rates. CONSTITUTION:In the analysis for reaction rates, the calibration curve A'' obtained by relatively small time intervals (for example, 2min intervals) and the calibration curve B'' obtained at relatively large time intervals (for example, 4min intervals) are prepared. The absorptivity change rate DELTAE per unit time of a sample of an unknown concn. or activity is measured, and if the value thereof is within the range of the solid line part of, for example, >=100mg/mol concn. of the calibration curve A'', the concn. corresponding to this DELTAE is determined. When the measured DELTAE is outside said range, it ought to be within the range of the solid line part of the calibration line B'' and therefore the concn. of that time is determined. Thereby, the concn. or activity is measured with good accuracy over a wide range. |
