PURPOSE:To enhance antiwear property of a roll by applying the hardening treatment to surface layer parts of a barrel and a bearing parts of a sink roll used in the zinc hot dipping by a high frequency heating method. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer parts of the barrel part of both side bearing parts of the sink roll is formed from a heat treated hardened steel, for example, JISSCS1, SCH1 or the like and the welding assembling is carried out. Subsequently, the hardening treatment due to the high frequency heating method is applied to harden said surface layer parts. Thereby, the roll surface layer part has corrosion resistance against molten zinc and antiwear property on the contact part of a steel plate and a frame and a using life can be prolonged. |
