The fin for swimming is fixed on the hand and has holes distributed over the web between the fingers to allow the passage of water. There are larger holes at the base of the fingers which are shaped to follow the contours of the joints. The fin is held on the hand by a glove, the fin having supple membranes joining its fingers, strengthened by ribs. It can also be held by a strap round the wrist. The fin can be rigid and held by loops for the fingers and a wrist strap.
|
