The nail for securing a door or window frame to a wall has a hollow tubular body (1) which is conically shaped at one end (2) and contains holes (4) along its length. The other end (3) of the body contains a threaded aperture (6) which receives a plug (5) and houses a one-way valve consisting of a ball (8) biased by a spring (10). The nail is driven through the frame into the wall. A setting material injected through the aperture into the body interior passes out of the holes into the surrounding brickwork and secures the nail in position.
