<p>Spindles on a mechanical braiding machine follow wave-like, intersecting paths, and stand parallel to the line of braid formation. The spindle comprises at least two parallel, side-by- side bobbins cooperating to provide stabilising means for the tension of yarns issuing from the top of the bobbin to be braided. The capacity of the spindle bobbins may be increased by placing them horizontally inside the spindle. An improved tension stability is achieved in the yarns being braided, and the braider is consequently more silent during running.</p> |
