The invention relates to a device for the supply or admixture of a disinfecting agent, especially a chlorine compound, to a liquid, preferably in a swimming pool with at least one input line and an output line for the disinfecting agent. The device has a housing in which the input line and the output line open and possesses a movable cleaning member inside the output line, the dimensions or cross-sectional dimensions of which cleaning member are essentially equal to the inner dimensions or cross-sectional dimensions of the output line.
