PURPOSE:To realize an easy debugging for the hardware or software, by equipping with an simulated LSI at the area where the LSI is used in a print panel unit or the like that forms an electric instrument. CONSTITUTION:The IC socket 4 for LSI is equipped to the print panel unit 2 on which an LSI incorporating a register incapable of a direct reading from outside is mounted. Then the socket 4 and an simulated LSI of a pin compatible structure are mounted in place of the LSI to be acutally mounted. The simulated LSI5 is formed by mounting the electronic parts 7 such as SSI, MSI or the like and the connector 8 onto the printed circuit board 6 and then providing the IC socket pin 9 with an equal function to an LSI, and has a write/read means for a register having the same function as the register incorporated into the LSI as well as plural signal lines used for an external reading. |
