Heating boiler, essentially consisting of a burner and of heat-exchange bodies for transmitting the heat of the combustion gases obtained by means of a burner to a medium which flows essentially from the top downwards through the heat-exchange bodies, of which bodies the parts coming in contact with the combustion gases are formed by corrugated plates, at least two of these plates being arranged approximately vertically at some distance from one another and inclined upwards towards one another, in such a way that there is formed between the corrugated plates and between closing plates, adjacent to the mutually opposite side edges of the two corrugated plates, a combustion-gas channel, the cross-section of which narrows from the bottom upwards.
