PURPOSE:To handle a branching filter together with coaxial cables in one body, by suppressing the attenuation of an AM signal and FM signal, by using a composite cable consisting of a couple of coaxial cables for AM and FM in one body. CONSTITUTION:An AM signal received by antenna 1 is intercepted by capacitors 7 and 10 and inputted from input plug 5 to a radio receiver after passing through coaxial cable 3 for AM, and an FM signal, on the other hand, is intercepted by coils 6 and 9 and similarly inputted to the receiver via coaxial cable 4 for FM. Thus, the characteristic impedance of individual coaxial cables 3 and 4 can be matched with that of the antenna and signal attenuation is the reception of each of the AM and FM signals can be suppressed. Further, branching filters 8 and 11 used to distribute and mix both the signals can be handled in a body together with coaxial cables 3 and 4. |
