PURPOSE:To produce duplicate pictures of different colors according to the temperature used in the recording process, by laminating two heat-melting ink layers which contain different coloring materials respectively. CONSTITUTION:The two heat-melting ink layers A and B having the different coloring materials respectively are sequentially laminated on a substrate 1, in such a manner that the ink layer A directly contacted to the substrate 1 has a melting point higher than that of the other layer B. Therefore, when printing is conducted by using a heating body 2 which is heated to a predetermined temperature and operated on the back side of the substrate, only the ink layer B having the lower melting point is melted and transferred onto a copying sheet 3 as a duplicate picture 4 corresponding to the printing pattern. On the other hand, when the printing is similarly conducted by using another heating body 2 which is heated to a temperature higher than that of the former heating body 2, both the ink layers A and B are melted to form a mixture, so that a duplicate picture 41 consisting of the molten ink mixture is produced on the copying sheet 3. |
