PROCESS FOR PREVENTING INJECTION MOULDED POLYOLEFIN PRODUCTS FROM FOAMING.

The polyolefin resin compsn. contains (1) the condensate of sorbitol and aldehyde cpd. and (2) lubricant in amt. of 1/20-1/2 pts. wt. to 1 pt. wt. of component (1). The compsns. provide injection moulding having excellent transparency and no foaming. The polyolefins include olefin homopolymers and copolymers (e.g. polypropylene, ethylene-propylene block copolymer, low density polyethylene). The amt. of component (1) used is 0.05-2 pts. wt., pref. 0.1-1.0 pts. wt. to 100 pts. wt. of polyolefin. Component (2) includes 3-30C satd. or unsatd. aliphatic amides and their derivs. such as hexylamide, octylamide, laurylamide, oleylamide and 3-30C satd. or unsatd. aliphatic esters and their derivs. there of such as butyl stearate, silicone cpds. having a viscosity of 10-100000 cPs.
