PURPOSE:To prevent a software error in a semiconductor device by covering the surface of a memory cell for a semiconductor memory circuit device with a natural radioactive substance and a high molecular organic substance having a predetermined thickness, thereby interrupting alpha rays. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor chip 103 mounted on a case 10 is connected by a bonding wire 105 to the pad 104 of the case connected to the lead wire of the case. After a polyimide 106 having a thickness of approx. 50mum is coated on the chip mounted on the case, it is baked at approx. 300 deg.C. The polyimide may be coated to cover the bonding wire. Thus, it can interrupt the external alpha rays, and a semiconductor memory circuit device capable of preventing a software error can be obtained. |
