PURPOSE:To prevent the toner from scattering by disposing the magnetic pole of a magnetic capturing means in the position upper than the nearest positoin of an electrostatic image holding member and the magnetic capturing means. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic pole S1 opposing to an image holding body 2 is disposed in the position upper than the point P of the nearest position of the body 2 and a nonmagnetic sleeve 6. Namely, the toner 3 on the body 2 moves together with the body 2 rotating in the direction of an arrow (a), and even if it leaves from the body 2 owing to the effect of magnetic force by approaching to the magnetic pole S1, the magnetic pole S1 is disposed in the position upper than the minimum spacing position P point of the body 2 and the sleeve 6 and therefore it is not captured by the sleeve 6 and hardly spills downward. For the toner scraped off by a blade 5, too, the spilling to below the cleaning device 4 and scattering do not occur. |
