The probe comprises an anode and a cathode which are capable of being inserted coaxially into a conventional angiography catheter, the anode being situated at the distal part of the probe and the cathode being disposed upstream of and at a certain distance from the anode on the probe, as well as a sheath of flexible material in which there are embedded the conductors connecting the electrodes to the current source.
