PURPOSE:To simplify loop constitution by using one transmitting-receiving circuit without separating it by codes, by composing a scramble signal of a loop constitution code, address code and code indicating the kind of a loop. CONSTITUTION:Under the control of a testing terminal, a loop is constituted extending to a remote terminal to be tested, and a signal when test data is transmitted between the testing terminal and the terminal to be tested is generated by combining at least two out of number a1 of bits of the loop constitution code to be informed of, number b1 of bits of the address code, and number c1 of bits of the mode code indicating the kind of loop constitution. Those numbers a1-c1 of bits are assumed to be numbers a2 and a3, b2 and b3, and c2 and c3 of bits using scramble code 0 or 1 in one generator polynomial or another one. Then, the terminal to be tested can detect a2, b2 and c2 bits or more continuously, the terminal to be tested is enabled to have correct loop constitution with a3>=a2, b3>=b2 and c3>=c2, so that the constitution of the transmitting-receiving circuit for the loop constitution is simplified. |
