<p>PURPOSE:To dissipate heat generated when ceramic varistors absorb pulses, and to prevent the deterioration of the varistors by laminating sheets consisting of ceramics having excellent thermal conductivity and insulating properties onto at least one surfaces of the laminated ceramic varistors and forming a ceramics radiator plate through simultaneous baking. CONSTITUTION:A varistor 4 is composed of ceramics using zinc oxide, etc., as main raw materials, and a metal such as platinum is employed as an internal electrode 5. A metal such as silver is used as an external electrode 6. Alumina, etc., are employed as a ceramic radiator plate 7. The varistors 4 and the internal electrodes 5 are laminated alternately, and sheets made up of ceramics having thermal conductivity and insulating properties are laminated onto one surfaces of the laminated varistors 4, and baked simultaneously, thus shaping the ceramic radiator plate 7. Accordingly, heat generated when the laminated ceramic varistors absorb pulses is dissipated, thus preventing the deterioration of the varistors.</p> |
