SUPERCHARGER IN AUTOBICYCLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To protect a supercharger consisting of an exhaust turbine and a compressor and prevent it from being damaged when there occurs a rear-end collision by providing the supercharger between an engine and its support frame. CONSTITUTION:An engine 4 is provided at the intermediate block of a car body. A supercharger 7 consisting of an exhaust turbine 9 and a compressor 11 is inserted between an engine support frame 12 and the engine 4. Two support frames can be provided on both sides. This permits the supercharger 7 to be placed at the front position which is separated from a rider. This can also protect the front of the supercharger with the frames 12 when there occurs a rear-end collision and prevent the supercharger from being damaged.
