PURPOSE:To remove stuck stains efficiently without abrasion loss of a magnetic head and the like by forming the cleaning layer of a cleaning tape for magnetic heads, guide poles, etc., of a layer made by dispersing resin particles in a binder. CONSTITUTION:Any of a soln. prepd. by dispersing resin particles of 5mu-200mu particles sizes of polystyrene, polyetylene, phenolic resins, epoxy resins, etc. in a soln. of a binder such as vinyl-chloride vinyl acetate resins, nitrocellulose and the like (the solvent to be used should not dissolve the above-described resin particles), an aqueous soln. of polyvinyl alcohol or the like, and a water-base coating soln. dispersed in polyethylene latex or the like is coated on a substrate (polyester film or the like) to dry coverage of about 30g/m<2>, and is dried, whereby the cleaning tape is made. This tape gives high cleaning effect without causing abrasion loss of the magnetic heads, guide poles, etc. of magnetic recorders. |
