There are described novel blue 6/7-halogenoanthraquinone compounds or mixtures thereof of the formula I <IMAGE> (I) in which X is a halogen atom which is in the 6- or 7-position of the anthraquinone molecule, R1 is a phenylalkylamino group, and R2 is the -OH, -NH2, -NH-alkyl, -NH-phenyl or phenylalkylamino group, and the phenyl groups in R1 and/or R2 can be further substituted and can contain a water-solubilizing group, the production thereof and their use as acid dyes or disperse dyes for dyeing and printing of in particular textile materials made from polyamide or polyester.
