FIELD: testing equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves testing bar whose one end is fixed on stand and applying load to other end of bar through joining device; positioning one or several sensors for receiving of sound spectrum on bar; simultaneously applying constant and/or variable loads to bar end through joining device, direction of loads coinciding with axis of bar; providing diagnosis of measured sounds issued from tested bar for revealing appearance and development of fatigue cracks. ^ EFFECT: increased precision of test results. ^ 15 cl, 1 dwg
