<p>PURPOSE:To promote the operational efficiency in a manual speed-change car through automatic process of engaging and disengaging the clutch by controlling a clutch on the basis of various control mechanisms interlocked with an accelerator pedal and a clutch-disengaging lever. CONSTITUTION:A clutch-disengaging mechanism is provided with a clutch -disengaging lever 2. A pin 2a at the top of the lever 2 is fitted into a long hole 4a on a piston rod 4 of a slave cylinder 3 interlocked with an unillustrated clutch pedal. The lever 2 is connected to a piston 11 of an oil cylinder C via a pin 6' fitted in a long hole 5a on a rod 5, a lever 6, and others, and pressurized oil is supplied to the oil cylinder C by hydraulic pump P. A cam 13 is fast fixed on a shaft 10 of the above-said lever 6. This cam 13 is used to operate a swtich S2 to stop the hydraulic pump P when clutch-disengaging is finished and a swtich S4 to close a valve V between oil lines Q3 and Q4 when the amount of clutch-engagement by the lever 2 is below a fixed level.</p> |
