PURPOSE:To prolong the life span of a vibration damper constructed by statically fixing damper bodies to face to the surface of a cylinder body projected coaxially with a vertical body of rotation on the body of rotation by composing contacting parts of damper bodies with the cylinder body by anti-abrasive and low-frictional materials. CONSTITUTION:In a vibration damper for a body of rotation, an annular permanent magent 2 is fast fixed on the upper end face of a body of rotation 1 to be driven for rotation, and another annular permanent magnet 4 constructing a magnetic bearing 3 together with the permanent magnet 2 is fast fixed on the under face of an upper brancket 5 to face to the magnet 2. Meanwhile, a large-diameter cylinder body 11 is fast fixed on the upper end face of the body of rotation 1, and damper bodies 12a-12d are arranged on the under face of the brancket 5 by four spots to hold this cylinder body 11 among. At this stage, for damper bodies 12a- 12d, a contacting member 21 to be in contact with the surface of the cylinder body 11 as the body of rotation 1 is vibrated is constructed of the synthetic resin or sintered alloy filled with anti-abrasive and low-frictional fillers, and fast fixed to a support member 22 in one body. |
