<p>A rotary durm, mounted on bearing rings, for the heat treatment of bulk materials, charactrized in that wedges are arranged to face each other on the outer periphery of the casing of the drum, at a distance corresponding approximately to the width of the bearing ring, the sloping surfaces of the wedges, which face each other, co-operating with inserts having matching wedge surfaces, secured to the bearing ring, the wedge surfaces and matching wedge surfaces being arranged on the outer periphery of the rotary drum in continuous folding symmetry.</p> |
