PURPOSE:To deposit bank notes efficiently, by discriminating and counting many bank notes continuously in a high speed and by including a movable cashbox having plural storage parts. CONSTITUTION:Bank notes supplied to bank note supply part 10 are taken to the side of bank note carrying device 17 one by one, and forgeries, kinds, double feed, and so on are discriminated, and forged bank notes are eliminated into reject box 22. For normal bank notes, the total amount of money is calculated at each time on a basis of the kind of money discriminated by operating circuit 38 and is displayed on the display part. Normal bank notes are stored in storage part 24 temporarily, and the bottom plate is opened when the final total amount of money is confirmed, and they drop and are stored into storage part 28A of cashbox 28. Thus, many bank notes are deposited efficiently. |
