PURPOSE:To remove the scatter of the liquid leakage-proof characteristic of an assembled sealing mouth plate for an alkaline cell and improve the stability of its quality, by applying liquid packings of different colors on the inner edge of an L shaped gasket and the outer surface of the peripheral folded part of the sealing mouth plate respectively, and fitting the folded part to the inner edge of the gasket. CONSTITUTION:After the toluene solution of low molecular weight polyamide or the like to be applied as a liquid packing to a sealing mouth plate 1 is produced, ink black for a felt pen, is added to it and on the other hand a dye ''oil red'' is added to the toluene solution of polybutene or the like as a liquid paking to be applied to an L shaped insulating gasket 2, both liquid packings are spread on each of the above sealing parts which shall be, then, fit to each other to make an assembled sealing mouth plate. Thereby, the manufacturing process can be simplified and liquid leakage proof characteristic and the stability of quality can be improved. |
