<p>A thermally insulating, fire-repellent wall panel consists of a plate carrying on both surfaces a coating sheet consisting of a synthetic mortar with a high filler content. The coating sheet is made by (a) mixing a synthetic binder with an inorganic granular filler and opt. with glass fibres, and (b) subjecting the mixt. to vibration, pref. with a frequency of more than 3 kHz, to achieve the required degree of densification.S The covering layer is very thick, homogeneous and steamproof. The panel has high fire-resistance. The mortar is pref. a polyester binder, contg. an inorganic granular filler, and opt. reinforced with glass fibres.</p> |
